India's one of the best entrepreneurs, Nandan Nilekani who gave this IT industry a new name with his founded Infosys, one of the most successful and reputed IT companies of the world. Foreign Policy Magazine has named him in the top 100 global thinkers in the category "the big ideas that shaped our world in 2010".

This honor was given to this multi-billionaire in wake of his idea to the government of giving a Unique Identity number to each Indian. He is currently the chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and calls himself the plumber of the government. This number will be helpful in addressing the issues of inclusion and mobility.

"Aadhaar" is the brand name given to this UID project which is a must as only 5% of the Indian population has passport, 2% trade in the stock market and just 20 percent have even a bank account.

Thus it is a must to reach the other part of the society which is relatively untouched. The mission is to give a number to the entire population by 2020, as 600 million will be given in the next 4 years. Each person of the country will have a UID, a bank account number and mobile number by 2020 is his dream.
