Anuya Speaks On Her "Kiss Of Faith" For Nagaram

Anuya Speaks On Her "Kiss Of Faith" For NagaramSouth Indian actress Anuya, best known for her role in the Tamil film `Siva Manasula Sakthi' has always preferred to stick to something different when it comes to choosing a role for any film. While she managed to catch the attention of the audience as well as filmmakers through her performance in her very first film, her portrayal of a cop in `Madurai Sambavam' won her much critical appreciation. And now, Anuya is back with the Sundar C production `Nagaram'. The actress plays a group in her upcoming flick and said in a statement to the media that her role in `Nagaram' is probably the first for any actress in the Tamil film industry.

Speculations in the media suggest that her role is different in the sense that she will be involved in a lip lock with co-star Sundar C, this being the longest in the history of South Indian cinema. Anuya quickly clears the air saying the kiss was absolutely necessary in keeping with the spirit of the film. Anuya says that the kiss shared with Sundar C for `Nagaram' is in no way intimidating, describing it as a "kiss of faith", a term which can better be explained once audiences watch the entire film.

This is not the first time that Anuya has been roped in to enact the so-called hot roles for the big screen. In fact, the actress is gradually gaining a reputation of being the most professional actress ever when it comes to filming intimate scenes with her co-stars. `Nagaram' released yesterday.
