Sensex up 78 points in opening trade today
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex has seen a rise of 78 points in the opening trade of Friday trading. Yesterday the index was marginally up by 32 points at its close. Although there was an earlier hike of 150 points in the opening trade yesterday but finally ended up with 18,238.31 points at day’s close.
The same case was with National Stock Exchange index Nifty as well. Nifty had seen a hike of 14.30 points and was recorded at 5,486.15 after yesterday’s trading.
However, Nifty has managed to touch a new intra-day high of 5,513.95 points yesterday.
Sensex had seen a gain in last two sessions and it was recorded to be over 267 points. So this is a remarkable hike in third consecutive session at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
It has raised 0.42 per cent in the first five minutes of the start of today’s trading. It was recorded at 18,316.32 points. At the same time, National Stock Exchange index Nifty has also rose up 0.48 per and touched
5,510.40 points.
