Koutons Retail Net Profit Declines 50% In June QtrKoutons Retail India Ltd has declared that its net profit for the three month period ended June 30 has dropped 49.95% at Rs 5.50 crore.

The branded apparel maker had made a net profit of Rs 10.99 crore in the same period of 2009.

The total income of the company declined 19.91% to Rs 161.59 crore for April-June quarter ended June 2010 as compared to Rs 201.78 crore for the three month period ended June 2009.

The company is in the business of designing, manufacturing and retailing apparel under the Koutons and Charlie Outlaw brands through a network of more than 1,400 exclusive outlets across the country.

Koutons Retail India Limited is a cloth manufacturing and retail company, which is involved in the business of designing, fabrication and marketing attire under the brands of Koutons and Charlie Outlaw via a system of 1400 exclusive brand outlets across the country.

In the financial year ended March 2009, Koutons Retail broadened its product line with the launching of women wear and kids wear.

The Charlie Outlaw trade name is a casual brand aimed at fashion aware youngsters that comes under the group of 14 to 25 years.
