United Breweries June quarter net profit surges two-fold to Rs 76 crore
United Breweries Ltd. has announced its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11.
According to the report, it has registered a significant two fold net profit rise.
United Breweries Ltd. has posted a net profit of Rs 76.13 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010 which is almost doubled of the net profit figure of the similar quarter in the last fiscal.
The company has been operated by the UB Group. The net sales of the company have gone up to Rs 775.63 crore during the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11. It was Rs 565.23 crore for the similar quarter in the preceding year.
The UB group firm has informed this in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The board of the company has recommended a dividend of 36% which means Rs 0.36 per equity share of Rs 1 subject to the approval of the share holders. This dividend has been declared for the year that ended March 31, 2010.
