Aditya Birla Chemicals Q1 net profit marginally up
Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) has informed that it has a net profit 2% up in the June quarter of the current year. It has announced its first quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11. Aditya Birla Chemicals (India) has a net profit of Rs 16.1 crore during the April-June quarter of the current fiscal year.
The company has registered a net profit of Rs 15.79 crore in the same quarter in the previous year.
Aditya Birla Chemicals has four manufacturing units in the India and one of the leading firms in its field. The firm produces caustic soda, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid and sodium hypo chlorite.
These are basically used in the aluminium, paper and steel sectors and for water treatment plants. Although there has been a marginal hike in the net profit, but the net sales of the company has declined.
The net sales of the company have fell down marginally and has touched Rs 58.83 crore during reviewed quarter against Rs 59.5 crore in April-June quarter of the last fiscal year.
