Radico Khaitan Ltd has informed that it has posted an impressive net profit in the Q1 of the current fiscal year. The firm has declared its Q1 financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11.

According to the report, it has managed to register a healthy quarterly performance in the quarter under review.

According to the company officials, a huge rise in sales of high margin premium brands of the firm has helped it to post a good net profit rise.

During the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11, the company has posted a net profit of 160.5 million rupees. For the similar quarter in the previous year, the net profit for Radico Khaitan Ltd was reported to be107 million rupees. The net sales of the firm were equally up.

It has grown up by 19% in the June quarter and has touched 3.26 billion rupees.

Radico has some of the very popular brands under its portfolio. The brands are 8 pm Whiskey, Magic Moments vodka, Contessa Rum and Old Admiral Brandy etc. The company has also added one more premium brand in this quarter itself.
