L&T Receives Orders Worth Rs 827 Crore
Engineering and construction major Larsen and Turbro (L&T) stated that its thermal power plant business division has received two orders valued at Rs 827 crore from GVK Power and the Chinese firm SEPCO for their power plant projects.
The contract from GVK Power worth Rs 602 crore is for construction, which includes certain electrical and mechanical balance of plant items, for the Gautami combined cycle power plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The SEPCO order, valued at Rs 225 crore, is for its civil works at Talwandi Sabo power facility by Sterlite Energy in Punjab.
Stock market analyst MB Singh is of the view that investors can buy Larsen & Toubro Ltd stock with target of Rs 2200.
Mr. Singh said that the interested investors can buy the stock stop loss of Rs 1770.
Today, the shares of the company opened at Rs 1830 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The share price has seen a 52-week high of Rs 1843.75 and a low of Rs 1340 on BSE.
Current EPS & P/E ratio stood at 52.56 and 34.58 respectively. (With Inputs from Agencies)
