Google's search engine usage up 70% in India
According to Google officials, the use of Google's search engine has increased by 70% in India. Google India Business Head, Narasimha Jayakumar has informed this fact to the media.
He has said that this hike was in the month of April. It has almost 70% enhanced as compared to the like period of the preceding year.
Now the world leader of search engines Google has come up with a Google exhibition of newer technologies called 'Google Creative Sand Box.'
The leading mobile company Nokia has been the most searched brands in Google. This has been reported by Google's 'Brand Zeitgeist'. 'Brand Zeitgeist' highlights the most searched brands by the users. Apart form that, State Bank of India, Samsung, Sony and BSNL has been the followers of Nokia in number of searches.
Mr. Jayakumar has also informed that, there has been a growth of 73% in the search of financial sectors.
One third of queries from the financial sector were about banking and net banking facility. In insurance sector, LIC was the top searched brand.
