US president Mr. Barack Obama has said that the leakage of oil in Gulf city of Mexico could be a great environmental disaster.

In Louisiana Mr. Obama has informed that the US government will do whatever needed to clean up the oil. And he has said BP is undoubtedly to be blamed for such mishap and it must take the responsibility to resolve the issue.

Obama has urged everybody to take the situation seriously and come forward to prevent further damage in the golf coast. The oil is polluting the environment and the sea. The creatures have been found dead on the coast.

According to the sources, British Petroleum has said that it will take a week to stem the leakage and it is expected to take three months to repair the rig. The deepwater horizon has sunk on April 22 and after two days there was big explosion. Around 11 people working there have lost their lives in that blast.

The US President has visited the place and ordered his officers to tackle the disaster as soon as possible.
