India is not going to hand over Kasab, Ansari to Pakistan - Says Rao

Foreign Secretary Mrs. Nirupama Rao has said that there is no question of any hand over of Kasab or Ansari to Pakistan. India is not going to do so as per Rao.

Ajmal Kasab is the single surviving terrorist in the Mumbai terror attacks on 26th November 2008. She has informed that the trial of Kasab is going on in the Indian court.

Earlier the Pakistan Government has urged the Interpol seeking Kasab's and co-accused Fahim Ansari's trial in Pakistan. But commenting on this issue, Mrs. Rao has informed that Indian system is taking care of the trials of Kasab.

She has said that the Indian Government has trying Kasab and others in India following the Mumbai attacks and there is no question of any hand over. The case against Kasab has proceeded over the past few months in the court at Mumbai.

On 3rd of April, Pakistan had approached Interpol to get the Red Corner notices so that it can arrest 26/11 Mumbai attack accused Ajmal Kasab and Fahim Ansari.
