Shoaib asks Media to pay to cover the reception ceremony
After much-controversial couple, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik had just started to move out of the controversies after their marriage but perhaps the couple is still far from getting over with its troubles soon.
After the Pakistani Cricketer Shoaib Malik demanded a whopping Rs. 35 million for media rights of his 'walima' reception, that took place on the 25th April in his hometown, Sialkot, the Pakistani media was very angry over his move.
Moreover, after the couple landed in Pakistan, Sania has been shying away from talking to the country's media, as she is believed to be in a contract with an Indian television channel.
But the intentions of Shoaib Malik wanting to cash in on his extensively reported wedding ceremony with the Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza haven't been fulfilled as the cricketer wasn't able to get a deal done.
In fact, media wasn't allowed to cover the event and a Pakistan-based newspaper even claimed that it has got another invitation for a reception that is to be held on the 27th of April for which it will have to pay Rs. 10,000 to a relative of the cricketer.
