Despite drop in the dollar index, Grain futures move downwardsDespite a drop in the dollar index, which declined 0.23 percent, commodity prices fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Corn was off 9 1/4 to off 10 1/2, soybeans were off 4 1/4 to off 6 1/4, wheat was off 5 1/4 to off 5 1/2 and oats were off 9 to off up 9 1/2.

With expectations of rain in the Midwest spurring a sell off, Corn futures dropped. Wheat around the globe was looking at favorable weather in the United States and questionable weather in India and China.

Despite support from the energy sector and a trade dispute between China and Argentina that could benefit U. S. sales Soybean futures fell. (With Inputs from Agencies)
