IPL 3 final may end Lalit Modi’s term

Lalit-ModiThe Modi saga is going forward to an end on the coming Sunday. According to sources, Lalit Modi, the IPL commissioner is expected to resign after the final of the Indian Premier League that has been scheduled on this Sunday.

The finals of IPL Season 3 will be played on Sunday, April 25 in Mumbai. After the resignation of Shashi Tharoor, the Modi exit is very much likely to happen soon.

According to reports, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief Shashank Manohar will have a discussion with NCP chief Mr. Sarad Pawar in Delhi on this issue. Manohar is known to the arch-rival of Lalit Modi. Some media experts have already predicted that the BCCI had decided ask Modi to step down as Commissioner and Chairman of the IPL. Mr. Manohar is most likely to be the next Commissioner.

Mr. Pawar had a meeting with the BCCI colleagues in Dubai as well. Modi's term is likely to end on 26th of this April and he has to give up the key positions with the BCCI as well as IPL.
