Satyam will take two years to reach the top- says CEO
The Chief Executive of Satyam Mahindra has said that it will take around two years for the company to reach to the top bracket of IT companies.
After the Raju debacle, Satyam was taken over by the Mahindra's a year ago and renamed as Mahindra Satyam. But as per CP Gurnami, CEO of Mahindra Satyam the company is still facing some serious operational challenges. He has also said that the company needs two more years or so to rejoin the race against other leading IT firms of the country like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant etc.
He has informed that there was a three-year transformation plan at the time of Mahindra-Satyam acquisition. The company is trying to execute the plans to return back on track. The management layers has been reduced and being structurally reorganized. The company is focusing on to be more customers centric by developing fresh tactics.
However, Mahindra is going to mark the first anniversary of its Satyam takeover and corporate affairs minister Salman Khurshid will be present at the event in Hyderabad.
