Blame game starts for Rafael’s Red Card
Sir Alex Ferguson accused Bayern Munich's players for use of unethical tactics. According to him, they not only attempted to injure Wayne Rooney, but persuaded the referee to give a red card to Rafael.
Disappointed with the fact that there will not be any English club in the champions league for the first time in seven years and the way his team made an exit from the competition, the United manager said that the several kicks to the injured right ankle forced Rooney to stay out of Sunday's game. He also showed his anger for the way Bayern players forced referee Nicola Rizzoli, to show a second yellow card to Rafael de Silva.
As per him, Bayern would have never won with Manchester United playing at its full strength. Referring the incident very tragic, he added that Rafael had a marvelous game but they forced the referee to send him off, which changed the game entirely.
Responding to Ferguson's comments, Louis van Gaal said that he does not agree with whatever has been said. He said "It's easy to say that after a loss." He further added that now he doubts his belief of England being a fair play nation.
