Rajasthan Royals defeats Chennai Super Kings
Rajasthan Royals has won their fourth consecutive match in the Indian Premier League (IPL-3) after defeating Chennai Super Kings by 17 runs at the Sardar Patel staium in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Rajasthan skipper Shane Warne won the toss and opted to bat first on flat pitch of Motera. Rajasthan scored 177 runs for loss of eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. N Ojha was the top scorer for Rajasthan who scored 80 runs in just 49 balls including five towering sixes.
J Morkel and S Jakati and T Thusara picked up two wickets each for Chennai.
Chasing the target of 178 runs, Chennai managed to score only 160 runs for loss of six wickets in 20 overs. M Vijay scored 42 runs while J Morkel contributed 28 runs with the bat.
S Tait claimed two wickets while Y Pathan and Warne took one wicket each. Ojha was declared man of the match.
