Mumbai Indians thrash Deccan ChargersMumbai Indians led by skipper Sachin Tendulkar has continued its dream run in the Indian Premier League (IPL-3) as Mumbai has defeated Deccan Chargers by 41 runs at the D Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

Deccan skipper Adam Gilchrist won the toss and invited Mumbai to bat first. Mumbai scored 172 runs for loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Sachin played brilliant inning of 55 runs in just 43 balls while Harbhajan Singh fired unbeaten 49 runs in 18 balls.

R P Singh took three wickets for 31 runs in his four overs while J Singh and P Ojha picked up two wickets each.

Deccan got to good start as they scored 64 runs in just 7.3 overs with loss of only one wicket. But after that the batting order of the Deccan collapsed and they bundled out with 131 runs on the board in 17.4 overs.

Harbhajan was declared man of the match for his brilliant inning of 49 runs and taking three wickets for 31 runs in his four overs.
