 IPL 3 sends four players off field, due to injuryThe list of injured of players in the domestic T-20 tournament IPL seems to be never ending. It's just a week's time since the third edition of the popular tournament has just started and already it has sent four players from field to rest bed.

The list of injured players include star cricketers like Chennai Superkings Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Delhi Daredevils skipper Gautam Gambhir, South African skipper Greame Smith and English all rounder Dimitri Mascarenhas.

Dhoni was the first one who was hit badly by Shane Bond's ball; he is expected to return after 10 days. Next to go was Gautam Gambhir who was not even in a condition to play the full match. Greame Smith has got double fracture for himself and has flown back to South Africa. Another player Rajasthan Royals Mascarebhas has hurt his ankle and he will be absent from the rest of the tournament.

Playing for the franchisees and getting hurt, will make it tough for them to meet their duties and responsibilities towards their respective national teams. T-20 world will commence from 30th April and it will be a big headache for the selectors of all countries if the players continue to getting injured like this.
