IPL-3 to be broadcasted on You Tube
It will be a revolutionary step in the sports as Indian Premier League (IPL-3) will be broadcast live on the internet on You Tube as IPL has inked a two year contract with internet search engine giants Google on Wednesday.
IPL will be the first ever event in the sports history to be broadcast live on the internet. IPL will reach to people in every country through You Tube channel where they will be able to see the match with their selected camera positions.
IPL commissioner, Lalit Modi said that they will be able to get about 500 million viewers through Google and most of the countries will get live feed of the match while in some countries there will be some delay of few minutes.
Mr. Modi added that the broadcast of IPL on internet will help the cricket fans all over the world as now people in different countries will be able to watch match at any time according to their convenience.
You Tube will provide various facilities like forwarding, replaying and pause the live feed which will help people in countries like Australia where match start at the midnight.
