Simplicity Cribs Recalled
Cribs made by Pennsylvania-based Simplicity Inc. have been recalled in North America by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission after the reports that the crib-beds were cause of death of two infants. Houston based Arceneaux family lost their 7-month old daughter Royale this February.

CPSC has received more reports recently. As per the latest information from CPSC, three infants have died so far. The commission is reviewing the third case of suffocation death. Seven injuries have been reported to commission. There are 55 other incidents which are under review.

“Royale is gone. I can't bring her back. I wish I could. It helps me sleep at night now that this is recalled, to help other families," said Tami.

Tami had never imagined that her little daughter at 7 months could die due to her Simplicity crib Tami said that they have lost her precious little princess and she would fight against the Pennsylvania-based Simplicity Inc.

Arceneaux has informed that their family will soon file a lawsuit against the company for death of her daughter Royale in February.

Tami Arceneaux said, "I feel like we followed the instructions to the best of our ability. She was just precious, my princess."

As per the statement of Tami’s lawyer, the crib was supplied without a manual. The family had to mail Simplicity Inc. regarding the issue and the manual was mailed to them. By the time the manual arrived, it was too late.

Serenity Jade Bergey was another 2-year-old which died as her head got stuck in broken crib. Palm Beach County family is also under shock after death of their sweet baby due to faulty crib.

Nearly one million cribs have been sold between 1998 and 2007. The cribs were manufactured in China and were sold at various stores across United States from January 1998 till May 2007. The price ranged between $100 and $300.
