Mumbai-based Milestone Real Estate Fund has announced that it has invested Rs 110 crore in a residential project in Kolkata.

The project is being jointly developed by Milestone and Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL), and involves the development of 3 million square feet of space for the mid-income group.

Speaking on this, Ved Prakash Aryam, CEO & MD, Milestone Group, said: “We are very happy to associate with the Godrej brand. This project being in the mid-segment housing sector holds great promise and value for home buyers.”

Milestone Group, a rapidly growing national real estate investment firm, has so far invested in projects worth more than Rs 100 crore from six funds across three asset classes.

GPL has confirmed this development. However, it has refrained from making any statements in the context of its statutory period.
