Sachin Tendulkar ranked 7th in ICC ODI rankings
Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has once again made into the top 10 of the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen. Sachin has been placed at seventh position while stylish Yuvraj Singh is top ranked among the Indian players in ODI all-rounder rankings released by ICC on Tuesday.
Sachin has made comeback into the top 10 batsmen after ten months as he was dropped from top 10 after ODI series against England November 2008 in India in. Sachin led India to tri-series win in the Sri Lanka yesterday and as a result he jumped 5 places to be at 7th rank.
Sachin scored 211 runs in the tri-series including 138 runs in the final and India won the match by 46 runs. Sachin was adjudged man of the match and man of the series. This was record 59th man of the match award and 14th man of the series award won by Sachin.
Meanwhile, Yuvraj is ranked second in the ODI all-rounder rankings. Yuvraj scored 80 runs apart from taking 4 wickets in the tri-series to leave behind Jacques Kallis of South Africa, Jacob Oram of New Zealand and Andrew Flintoff of England.
