London, Sept 4 : Levi Johnston, the former boyfriend of Sarah Palin''s daughter Bristol, has offered to pose naked for Playgirl.

During a behind-the-scenes video for his recent Vanity Fair photoshoot, the 19-year-old self-confessed "redneck" from Wasilla, Alaska, said: "I would do it."

However, it seemed that Levi was unaware that Playgirl has a large gay readership, reports The Telegraph.

While talking about its contents, he said: "I''m guessing it''s a dude posing for women."

Rick Andreoli, executive editor of Unzipped Media, said Johnston was a gay icon.

Andreoli said: "The gay community''s outpouring of support and adoration for Levi Johnston has been loud and clear since he burst onto the political scene last fall.

"Now, having learned of his desire to bare all for his fans and admirers, we''ve sent an official offer letter to his manager and eagerly await their response."

Levi split from Bristol in March, three months after their son, Tripp, was born. (ANI)
