Seven die in Serbian munitions factory blast
Belgrade - Seven people were killed and 14 others injured Thursday in an explosion at a munitions factory in Serbia, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said.
The blast occurred in the Prvi Partizan factory in Uzice, 200 kilometres south of Belgrade. None of the injured were in a life-threatening condition, Dacic said.
The cause of the explosion was not immediately clear. The chief executive of the factory said the production line had been overhauled just two weeks earlier.
