Somdev advances to second round of US Open qualifiers
India's no. 1 Somdev Devvarman has stormed into the second round of the qualification event of the US Open after defeating American Alex Bogomolov Jr in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 at Flushing Meadows on Tuesday. Another Indian, Prakash Amritraj crashed out after losing his first round match.
