Australia bundles out on 263 runs
Australian team has returned to pavilion for just 263 runs on the board on the second day of the third test match of the Ashes test series at Edgbaston on Friday. England score stood at 116 runs for two wickets at the close of play on second day.
J Anderson picked up 5 wickets haul while G Onion was also impressive as he chipped in with 4 wickets. The Australian team faced a major collapse after 85 runs opening partnership between S Katich (46) and S Watson (62).
Australian team was once struggling on 229 runs for loss of 9 wickets. But P Siddle (13) and B Hilfenhaus (20) added together 34 runs for last wicket to help Australia to pit up total of 263 runs.
England also got to a bad start as A Cook (0) lost his wicket to Siddle in second over of the inning.
England skipper A Strauss scored unbeaten 64 runs while I Bell was unbeaten at individual score of 26 runs at the close of play.
Bell has replaced injured Kevin Petersen in this match.
