Rain halts Bangladesh campaign
The rain has halted the second test match between Bangladesh and West Indies as Bangladesh has been smelling their first ever test series victory on the foreign soil at St Georgia on Sunday.
West Indies was struggling at the score of 192 runs for the loss of eight wickets when showers interrupted the play on the ground.
Once again Bangladesh spinners dominated the inexperienced batting attack of the West Indies as Shakib Al Hasan and Enamul Haque Jr took 7 of the 8 wickets, which fell in the second inning of the West Indies.
Bernard was the only batsman for West Indies, who showed some resistance against the spin bowling attack of Bangladesh. Bernard scored unbeaten 61 runs from 71 balls with six fours and one huge six.
The play was halted by rain half an hour before the lunch, while the entire evening session was washed away by the showers at continued intervals.
