IREO, a leading global investment fund dedicated to the Indian real estate sector, has decided to spend worth $500 million on construction of various infrastructure projects in India over a period of seven years.

It should be noted that IREO has already invested $1.5 billion in India.

Currently, the company has 13 projects and is in the process of constructing an IT SEZ (special economic zone) in Pune.  

The fund, which has been present in India since 2003, has projects in many states including Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Delhi.
