The two time Wimbledon champion, Serena Williams has advanced into the quarterfinals of the women’s single event of the Wimbledon championship after crushing Daniela Hantuchova in the third round in London on Monday.

Serena has defeated Hantuchova in straight sets by 6-3 6-1 in her third round match of the women’s single event of the Wimbledon championship which lasted for just 56 minutes.

Serena was looking in good touch as she won the first set without any difficulty and in the second set she completely outplayed Hantuchova as she won the set with losing only a single set.

Serena will now play against the 8th seeded, Victoria Azarenka of Belarus in the quarterfinals of the women’ single event of the Wimbledon championship.

Victoria has defeated 10th seed Russian Nadia Petrova by 7-6 (7-5) 2-6 6-3 in a match of third round of the Wimbledon championship.
