Cricket NSW has announced its 36 members of Blues list of contracted players for the 2009/10 domestic season which is going to commence from October this year.

The 2009/10 Blue squad has a mix of young and experienced players as 10 NSW players have been recently named in the Cricket Australia Contract list.

The new players which have been included in the squad are Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, Luke Doran (Fairfield-LIverpool) and Phillip Wells (St George).

Doran is a left arm spinner who performed brilliantly for Australia at Under 19 level in last season while Phillip Wells is a all-rounder who can bat well and he is also handy with his right-arm swing bowling.

While Ed Cowan and Scott Coyte has been excluded from the 2009/10 Blue contract list.

Cricket NSW Chief Executive David Gilbert said that he has been delighted to announce such a talented contract list as he has been sure that their team will put up a good challenge in all the three Domestic Competitions.
