Younis quitted at wrong time : Manjrekar
The former Indian batsman Sanjay Manjrekar said that Pakistan captain Younis Khan's decision to quit Twenty20 came at wrong time as this will affect the performance of his country's team in this quick format of cricket.
Manjrekar termed Younis's decision to quit T20 cricket as ill-timed as according to him, Pakistan team is at the stage of rising in the cricket world and they need good leadership to continue their winning strike.
It should be noted Pakistan team has recently won the title of ICC T20 World Cup under the captainship of Younis and after the final match Younis announced his retirement from the T20 format of cricket while he will continue to play in the test and ODI matches.
Manjrekar said that Younis' decision was shocking and Younis has habit of doing such things as earlier also he refused to lead the Pakistan team after Inzamam-ul Haq stood down due to the 2007 World Cup debacles.
