Patiala cricket team returned to pavilion at the score of 310 and Chandigarh got a lead of just 14 runs in the semi-final match of the Punjab Inter-District Cricket Tournament for Katoch Shield at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium, Chandigarh on Wednesday.

In the reply of 324 runs of Chandigarh team in the first inning, Patiala team resumed their inning from the overnight score of 13/0 and lost the wicket of opener Kunwar Raina at the score of 84.

Patiala cricket team returned to pavilion with 310 runs on the board. Ravi Inder Singh was the top scorer for the Patiala team as he scored 112 runs while Ankur Jund (41) and Hardevinder Singh (26) also batted well as Patiala finished their first inning 14 runs short of Chandigarh's score of first inning.

In another semifinal Amritsar is playing against Jalandhar and Jalandhar was at the score of 274/2 while Amritsar returned to pavilion on the score of 378 in their first inning.
