Kirsten blamed IPL for early exit of India

Gary KirstenIndia's coach Gary Kirsten has blamed Indian Premier League (IPL-2) for early exit of Indian team from the ICC T20 World Cup as Indian team crashed out of the ICC T20 World Cup after losing two matches in the super eight round.

Former South African opener, Kirsten said that due to involvement of all the Indian players in the IPL-2, Indian players were physically as well as mentally tired and due to this reason they were unable to defend their T20 championship title.

He further added that they are considering on the option of not giving permission to Indian team players to play in next IPL season ahead of next ICC T20 World Cup which will be held in West Indies in the month of April next year.

Kirsten worries on fatigue of players is right as Indian team is continually playing from February without a break and Indian team will now tour West Indies for four One Day Internationals which is scheduled to begin next week.
