Dhoni’s bad form worries India
India will take on England in a must win match at the Lords of super eight round of the ICC T20 World Cup today.
Indian team lost their first match against West Indies as DJ Bravo performed brilliantly with bat as well as ball.
But, apart from this, another reason for the defeat of the Indian team against West Indies was struggling form of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Rohit Sharma has been promoted up in the batting order as Indian aggressive opener Virender Sehwag has been ruled out from the ICC T20 World Cup due to shoulder injury.
Dhoni, who comes at no. 5 in the batting order, has changed his batting style from an aggressive player to a sheet anchor but from the past few matches he is unable to provide necessary momentum to the Indian inning.
Dhoni has scored 6, 9*, 26 and 14 in last four matches in the England including warm-up matches of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Dhoni scored 11 runs of 23 balls against West Indies and Dhoni has to fire so that India can qualify for the semifinals of the ICC T20 World Cup.
