Pakistan’s chief selector Abdul Qadir resigns
Pakistan's chief selector, Abdul Qadir has resigned from Pakistan Cricket Board on Monday lasting only six months as chief selector.
Qadir's decision has come just after Pakistan's 48 runs defeat against England in a pool match of the ICC T20 World Cup.
Salim Altaf, chief operating officer PCB said that Qadir has given his resignation to the chairman of PCB and his resignation has been accepted by the chairman. He further added that Qadir has not stated any reason for his resignation as chief selector of PCB.
Qadir is third chief selector of PCB who has resigned since World Cup in 2007.
Pakistan skipper Younis Khan said that he will not be disappointed even if Pakistan failed to qualify for the super eight round as we are not giving much importance to T20 cricket as it is just a fun game.
Pakistan will play against Netherlands in their second pool match today and to advance in to the super eight round, Pakistan will have to win this match with huge margin.
