India ends at 2-2 draw against New Zealand
India junior hockey team settled for a 2-2 draw against New Zealand in their second match of the FIH Junior Hockey World Cup at the Seng Kang Sports Complex on Tuesday.
Indian players many goal scoring opportunities as Indian skipper Diwakar Das converted only one out the six penalties they got during the match.
For India Diwakar scored goal in 13th minute and Pramod Kumar in 37th minute while for New Zealand Simon and Marcus scored one goal each in the 10th and 32nd minute respectively.
Indian team has now four points in two matches they played while Holland is at the top with six points.
India will play its next match against Holland on Thursday who are performing brilliantly throughout the tournament.
In Group A match defending champion Argentina defeated Belgium by 3-0.
