Viren Rasquinha appointed as Chief Operation Officer
Former Indian Hockey captain, Viren Rasquinha has been appointed as Chief Operation Officer by Olympic Gold Quest from June 1.
Olympic Gold Quest is a non- profit organization which identify various talented players and help them to make for Olympic.
Viren, the Olympian, who has played 180 international matches between 2002-2008, has also been awarded one of the most prestigious Arjuna award.
After retiring from hockey, he joined Indian School of Business (ISB) for doing MBA at Hyderabad.
Viren on this occasion said that my sports background and MBA degree will help in guiding other young players as well as to run organization efficiently.
He further added that after quitting hockey, he never thought to make a come back but he accepted this proposal.
