Welsh soccer star nicked over ''roasting'' bid
London, Apr. 11: A married footballer has been arrested over a claim he and a pal sexually attacked a teenager.
John Oster, 30, and Paul Wethers went to the girl’s home after a night out in London’s West End, reports The Sun.
The ex-Everton and Sunderland star allegedly groped the 19-year-old. Wethers, in his 30s, is accused of having sex with her against her will.
Police are investigating whether the men planned to “roast” the student — a term used by footballers who have group sex with a woman.
The alleged attack is said to have happened at 2 a. m. at the girl’s parents’ home in East London. Wales international Oster, now at Crystal Palace, and Wethers were nicked hours later.
Officers took the girl to The Haven, a special sex crime clinic in London.
The millionaire midfielder married Marnie, 32, in 2004 and she lives in their Sunderland home. (ANI)
