Asus Launches ENGTX285 & ENGTX295 Graphics Cards Series In India
Asus has recently released its new ENGTX295, ENGTX285 Ultimate and ENGTX285 TOP graphics cards for its Indian users.
Along with a user friendly interface, the three new GPU graphics cards have added in some handy extras and features.
Based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285 and 295 chipsets, the graphics cards work on an excellent 3DMark Vantage Extreme Preset score of 9126 to take performance to its highest level.
Mr. Vinay Shetty, Country Head, Component Products, Asus (India), stated, “With the launch of the latest ENGTX295 and ENGTX285 series we are providing high end users in India with the most ultimate graphics solution to their demanding needs.”
“These cards are especially designed for a very niche user segments like gamers and are equipped to provide very high graphic performance. With these cards ASUS will set a new benchmark for graphic card performance in the Indian market,” Mr. Shetty added.
The ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and TOP graphics cards come packed with exciting features including GeForce GTX 285 GPU, PCI Express 2.0 back up, DVI-to-D-Sub adapter output, two DVI outputs, HDTV output, HDCP complaint and bundled Asus Utilities & Driver software.
The graphics cards have a DVI resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 1GB DDR3 video memory.
With a DVI resolution of 2560 x 1600, the features common to the ENGTX295 are GeForce GTX 295 GPU, PCI Express 2.0 support, 1792MB DDR3 video memory, 1.998GHz memory clock with 576 MHz engine clock and 1242 MHz Shader clock, DVI to D-Sub adaptor output, DVI output, HDTV Out cable, HDCP compliant and DVI-to-HDMI adaptor.
Both the series of graphics cards also sports the exclusive Asus GamerOSD, Asus SmartDoctor and CUDA technology with Graphics Plus pack.
Moreover, the core, shader, and memory clock performances of ENGTX285 ULTIMATE and ENGTX285 TOP have been promoted from 648MHz up to 712MHz and 670MHz, from 1476MHz up to 1620MHz and 1550MHz, and from 2484MHz up to 2760MHz and 2600MHz respectively.
Asus GTX 295 is priced at Rs 39000, while the company has not revealed the price of the GTX 285 cards.
