Courteney Cox to star in ‘Cougar Town’
London, Feb 13 : Former `Friends' star Courteney Cox is set to return to the land of comedy - as a predatory older woman.
The 44-year-old has signed on to play the role of a mother with a 17-year-old son in a new TV show called `Cougar Town'.
`Cougar' is slang for a woman on the prowl for a toyboy.
`Scrubs' duo Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel will write the project.
"People don't do the reality, but there is real comedy about a woman who is talking about Botox and having sex with lights on," the Sun quoted Lawrence, as saying.
Cox has recently been honoured at a charity gala for her commitment to cancer causes.
The actress was hailed by Hollywood A-listers such as superstar couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z at a fundraising dinner in Beverly Hills, California on February 10. (ANI)
