New Zealand bundles out on 238 runs
New Zealand has set target of 239 runs for Australia in the fourth One Day International (ODI) of the five ODI matches series at the Eden Park in Auckland on Thursday.
Australian skipper Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to field first. New Zealand got to good start as openers added 63 runs for the first wicket. But after that, Kiwi middle batting order collapsed against the Australian bowling attack.
New Zealand returned to pavilion with 238 runs on the board in 44.1 overs. B McCullum was the top scorer for New Zealand who scored 61 runs while D Tuffey contributed 34 runs with the bat late down the order.
N Hauritz was the most successful Aussie bowler who took three wickets for 46 runs in his 8 overs. M Johnson, S Watson and J Hopes took two wickets each while R Harris picked up one wicket.
Australia is leading the five ODI matches series 2-1 and they will be eyeing towards series win by winning this match while Kiwis will have to save this match to keep their hopes alive in the series.
