A video of a haircut was uploaded by the BarberShapp salon on their Facebook page. The page refers to the so called haircut as being ‘Quirky, Stylish and Smooth’ and is considering it as ‘a new trend in the making’. BarberShapp is a mobile application that connects barbers and customers.

The video was posted on Friday which shows a model’s hair being cut by a hairdresser in an asymmetrical and layered manner. Facebook users have extremely condemned this haircut and are not even considering it as one.

The video has already received over 9 million views on Facebook and 41,000 comments. Most of them are negative. Users have criticized the haircut and given their verdict that this will definitely not be any sort of trend.

The long blonde locks of the model were simply cut from various areas and what were left behind were random shapes. A user commented that a safe opinion on behalf of the entire country can be that this haircut will never be a trend and nothing else can be said about it.

Another user wrote that the haircut looks as if some crazy person went ahead who chopped his hair, something like if a child goes ahead and cuts his/her own hair strands.

The haircut video could just be a smart marketing decision to raise the profile of the mobile app, but one thing that seems certain is that the haircut won't be a trend any time soon. Usually, haircuts are considered good or bad depending upon the personal opinion of an individual. But the new haircut has received a unanimous title of being horrendous. BarberShapp might have simply posted the video to market their mobile app but it could have a negative impact on their popularity.
