Netanyahu warns against Iran nuclear deal post Khamenei's 'Israel elimination' statement

Benjamin NetanyahuWashington, Nov 11 : Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned the world powers against rushing into a deal on Iran's nuclear program despite a looming deadline after the nation's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, called for the elimination of Israel in a newly released document.

While accusing Iran of promoting international terrorism, Netanyahu remarked on Monday that the nation does not observe any moderation and is "unrepentant and unreformed," reported the CNN.

He urged the six permanent members of the United Nations Security Council to not allow the "terrorist regime in Iran" to become "a nuclear threshold power." Netanyahu also asked them to not rush into a deal that would let Iran "rush to the bomb."

Khamenei had called for the eradication of Israel by seeking a referendum but had said that an "armed resistance" is the cure in the meantime. He had called for the West Bank to be "armed like Gaza ." (ANI)
