Nepal PM to visit India, Egypt
Kathmandu, June 9 : Visiting Indian Joint Secretary Satish C. Mehta and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood met Foreign Secretary Gyan Chandra Acharya on Monday and discussed Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal''s visit to India.
Sood said the possibility of the prime minister''s visit to India was discussed but no date had been fixed.
The prime Minister will make his first foreign visit to India before he moves on to attend the 15th Summit of the Non Aligned Movement (NAM) from July 11-16 in Egypt.
Egyptian Ambassador Abdelhamid Mahmod Soleiman met Madhav Kumar and handed over the invitation letter from Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak to participate in the NAM summit.
The prime minister''s Foreign Relations Advisor Rajan Bhattarai said the prime minister has accepted the invitation, Nepalnews reported. (ANI)
