Nazir is likely to be included in ODI series: Bari
The Pakistan opener Imran Nazir could be included in the Pakistan squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka according to Pakistan’s acting chief selector Wasim Bari.
Nazir has recently ended his contract with the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL) but he was not considered for selection due to bad behavior in the final of the national Twenty20 championship.
Bari said that the charges against Nazir has been dropped in which he was alleged to shown dissent towards an umpire who has given him out.
He added that Nazir was cleared on June 30 and now he has become eligible to be considered for selection in the ODIs and T20s against Sri Lanka.
Mohammad Yusuf and Abdul Razaq have been among another former ICL player who has been granted amnesty by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and they both have been playing for Pakistan in the International matches again.
