Nagarjuna first quarter net up 18% to Rs 56crore

Nagarjuna-ConstructionNagarjuna Construction has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2010-11.

According to the company, it has post a rising net profit figure in the reviewed quarter of April-June. Nagarjuna Construction has posted a net profit of Rs 56.22 crore during the April-June quarter of fiscal year 2010-11.  

The company has registered a net profit of Rs 47.65 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2009. That means there has been a growth of 17.98% in the June quarter this year against its like period in the financial year of 2009-10.

The company has informed this in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange. Nagarjuna Construction is one of the leading construction companies of the country. The net sales of the firm have also grown up in the Q1 this year.

The net sales of the company have reported to be Rs 1,399.50 crore during the Q1 of fiscal year 2010-11. It was Rs 1,209.73 crore for the same quarter in the preceding year.
