It was announced by Motorola today that with an aim to optimize its network, the company’s Multi-Vendor Intelligent Optimization Service (MVIOS) solution has been chosen by Mumbai's BPL Mobile.  
 
It is being claimed by Motorola that the best possible user generated data analysis is provide by the MVIOS solution and thus allows a consistent and repeatable approach to network optimization, irrespective of the network equipment vendors involved.

According to Motorola, the immediate benefits to operators upon using the solution include optimum utilization of assets, reduced capex, reduced opex, minimized traffic loss, improved customer service reliability, increase in service coverage and revenue and substantial overall cost reduction in related network optimization expenses.
