Moss’ vintage £4,000 Dior dress left in tatters

London, Sept 20 : The Golden Age Of Couture bash turned out to be a real nightmare for supermodel Kate Moss after her vintage 4,000 pounds Dior frock was left in tatters.

Moss turned heads in admiration when she arrived for the party decked in the dress, but the sight was very different when she left.

By the time of her departure, the 1940s gold dress was ripped across the shoulders and back, a string of buttons had popped open.

Moss made things worse when she tried to tie up the three-foot train of the dress and make it into a mini to avoid people from stomping over it, but instead ended of showing off her butt to all and sundry.

A source revealed that Moss had bought the ensemble at a posh boutique for the do, but after a few drinks, forgot to be careful with it.

“Kate had bought the dress at a posh boutique in Primrose Hill at the weekend for the bash,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

“The dress was so delicate any little pull would have damaged it.

“She tried carrying the train, but after a few drinks she got fed up and left it trailing behind her for everyone to stand on.

“It wasn’t only the dress that was destroyed. She almost fell into the cab and needed her pals to hold her upright.”

There were also rumours floating about that rocker Courtney Love was responsible for the doomed fate of Moss’ dress, but the supermodel’s spokesman rubbished the reports.

“The dress was stood on by many people throughout the night. She didn’t implicate Courtney Love,” the spokesman said. (With inputs from ANI)
