M&M Financial Q1 net soars 52%
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, a non banking finance company, has notified that its consolidated net profit grew by 52.40 per cent to Rs 43.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, over the same period last year.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 28.30 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008.
Further, company's registered a growth of 9 per cent in its total income, which rose to Rs 327.47 crore in the latest quarter, against Rs 298.99 crore in the same period previous fiscal.
On the standalone basis, M&M Financial Services has witnessed a surge of 49.49 per cent in its net profit to Rs 39.90 crore in the latest quarter, compared to the same period previous fiscal.
Total income rose to Rs 320.33 crore for the quarter ended June 2009, against Rs 294.64 crore in the same period last year.
The stock closed the day at Rs.259.75 on BSE, up by Rs.2. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.265 and low of Rs.257.05.
